Grandmas Spiced Applesauce

Easy and delicious spiced applesauce for canning

Ingredients
  

  • 16 med Tart apples Peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup apple juice Fresh squeezed
  • 1 tsp. Ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. Ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp. Ground allspice

Equipment

  • Dutch Oven

Method
 

  1. Place all ingredients into Dutch oven. Cover and cook over low-medium heat for 30-40 minutes or until apples are tender.
  2. Remove from heat, mash apples to desired consistency.
  3. Serve warm or cold. Store in refrigerator or can for long term storage.
